Whenever we’re having a new patient or any kind of patient that really needs their, you know, full mouth or full arch to be reconstructed and helped really, what we like to do is like get pictures and that doesn’t include just x-rays. We like to take individual pictures of the teeth and then how you bite together from the sides and from the front and how you kind of smile. We’ll take some time to look at that. Sometimes we’ll even get a panoramic or a 3D scan to kind of really get all what we need to know in case there’s implants or if there needs to be dentures or if it’s just a lot of crowns everywhere. It’s more than just they look good and they feel good. It’s more of the structure and function of the teeth and the aesthetics, but also how that works with your muscles, your nerves and your bones too. Because, you know, a dentist shouldn’t just look at individual teeth. They need to look at the entire picture and know that, you know, we’re not fixing teeth, we’re fixing, you know, we’re providing a service for people as well.

Restore Your Smile & Your Bite With Full-Mouth Rehabilitation
Your daily routine can be difficult when you’re missing many (or all) of your natural teeth. You may be embarrassed to show others your smile, instead choosing to hide it behind your hand. You may pick and choose what you eat because chewing is difficult. A full dental rehabilitation from Lopez Dental Associates will greatly improve your quality of life.
We’ll work one-on-one with you to develop a comprehensive plan to restore all your teeth. Your dentist will use technology including digital X-rays, 3-D imaging with a cone beam CT scanner, and computer-guided dental implant placement to ensure that your treatment goes exactly as planned.
You’ll find many options to get your smile back, depending on your desires, circumstances, and budget. They include:
- Implant-Supported Bridges – We’ll anchor your new bridge to dental implants to replace the gap in your smile and restore your chewing capacity.
- Implant-Secured Dentures – Your new dentures will be attached to dental implants with either a snap-and-ball system or using a sturdy metal bar.
- All-on-4® or All-on-6 Dental Implants – With just four or six implants, we can anchor a full arch of fixed teeth that never need removal for cleaning.
- Same-Day Smile – Find out if you’re a good candidate to receive your implants and new replacement teeth all in the same visit.
If implants aren’t for you, you can replace missing teeth with a conventional dental bridge or conventional dentures (full or partial).

A full-mouth reconstruction involves extensive dental repair to replace all or nearly all your damaged and missing teeth. You may have lost your teeth to disease, injury, or another reason. We’ll work hand in hand with you to develop a treatment plan to restore your smile and give you back a strong bite.
The length of your full-mouth reconstruction will depend on many factors. Some of our patients will be good candidates for a same-day smile procedure, in which they get implants and replacement teeth in a single visit. Other patients will need to allow their gums to heal and implants to fuse with their jawbone for a few months before getting their new teeth.
A full-mouth reconstruction may include multiple treatments, including surgical procedures such as tooth extractions, bone grafts, and dental implant placement. No matter which procedures you receive for your dental restoration, we’ll ensure you remain comfortable. We use local anesthesia to numb your mouth before treatment, and you can also choose to receive dental sedation.
